A Phycitodes sp trapped on 9 Oct could not be readily identified'

after posting a photo it was suggested that it needed to be dissected , which Chris Vincent agreed to do - tonight he has confirmed it is a F Homoesoma nebula- Clouded Knot-horn ,

this is only the 3rd record for Devon - first was on 1 Sept 1987,

second a few days before mine trapped by Chris Vincent

Undoubtedly the rarest moth trapped in my Thurlestone garden
