Started cloudy , dry and calm , after 20.30 clear sky bright moon and colder 

2 traps on until 22.00, 8 moths of 5 species 

surprise of the year was a fresh White-speck found on a sheet at 19.00-there is only 1 previous Devon record for January- 22/1/2016, the next earliest is 24 June- on Obs I'd there are 2 records  for Jan 2025 in Spain 

finished with 8 moths of 5 species -

NFY - 1 Agonopterix alstromeriana, 4 Depressaria daucella 

Also- 1 LBAM, 1 Winter Moth

First trap of the year produced 5 moths of 4 species ,traps on 17.00-22.00 

2 Winter Moth, 1 December Moth, 1 Double Striped Pug , 

1 Eudonia angustea
